The origin of “De Leon Cigars” is in Punta Cana, on the Eastern side of the Dominican Republic.

The manufactory was founded in 2001, by its owners Ruth De Leon and her husband Sylvio Buchschatz.

The Philosophy of “De Leon” is to produce the best quality of cigars, in order to satisfy a very selected circle of costumers.

With a small production per year, “De Leon” is the perfect example of fine Boutique cigars.

Since the beginning our ingredients are “Love” and “Passion” in all our working steps and also using just tobacco from the best plantations of the Cibao valley. Specially the tobacco from my very good friend Leo which is an artist in growing and processing this fine leaves. This tobacco comes with no doubt from the best spots and you can savor this excellent tobaccos in our cigar blends.

Our journey has been very hard, but now it has reached the recognition of different European cigar magazines like “Cigar” and “European Cigar Cult Journal” among the most prestigious brands in the world.

You would find our fine cigars in over 70 cigar stores, smoker’s lounges and hotels.

Our sense for the right construction and feeling for splendid blends makes each cigar a masterpiece.
